On January 1, 2025, Jim Lucchese, former CEO of Echo Nest and Sofar Sounds, will become Berklee’s fifth president.

Justin Bumper Reeve, founder of Hidden Track Music, has signed as SVP Global Sync at Virgin.

Warner Chappell Music

Warner Chappell has hired Sony Music veteran Tat Tong, based in the publisher’s Shanghai office, as VP A&R and creative for the Asia Pacific region.

Muse Group

Muse announced three new hires: Debbie Diekelman (who previously held the same role at Hal Leonard) as CFO, Sven Ahrens, who spent more than eight years growing Spotify subscribers, as Chief Growth Officer, and Mohammed “Mo” Chahdi, who spent about 20 years at Dell, as COO.

PPL-PRS

PPL PRS has promoted Greg Aiello, a team member with over five years’ experience, from Commercial Director to MD.

iHeartMedia

Kim Williams, a member of the iHeartMedia team for nearly 27 years, has been named regional president for Alaska and Hawaii, and Larry “Yako” Calderon Jr. has officially become program director for iHeartMedia Miami’s Y100. Calderon Jr. is expected to continue as program strategist and coordinator “for iHeart Latino stations in the U.S..”

BMI has welcomed veteran tech executive Tom Kershaw as CTO and added Justin Rohde (formerly of Xplor) as its first Chief Transformation Officer.

BMG CEO Thomas Coesfeld has been appointed to the Bertelsmann Board of Management.

Arista Records

Sony Music’s Arista has promoted Nick Petropoulos, who has worked with it for three years, to EVP of promotion and artist development.

Big Loud has officially promoted Stacy Blythe, who joined the company nearly nine years ago, to EVP of promotions.
