New Delhi, July 19: Home Minister Amit Shah has reviewed the overall internal security situation in the country and the fight against terrorism and directed various security chiefs to adopt a whole-of-government approach to national security.

Addressing the high-level meeting with various heads of security and law enforcement agencies to review the functioning of the IB Multi Agency Centre, which is responsible for addressing security challenges in the country.

Shah stressed that there should be greater synergy among all agencies to dismantle the terror networks and their supporting ecosystem to address the evolving security threat to the country.

The Home Minister stressed on the need to form a team of young, tech-savvy and passionate officers from all agencies involved in national security to dismantle the terror ecosystem using big data and AI/ML-driven analytics and technological developments.

The interior minister instructed several heads of security agencies across the country and other intelligence and law enforcement agencies to adopt a whole-of-government approach to national security.

While reviewing the overall internal security situation in the country and the fight against terrorism, Shah urged all participants to enhance engagement in the Multi Agency Centre and make it a cohesive platform that brings together all law enforcement agencies, anti-drug agencies, cyber security and intelligence agencies to take decisive and swift action.
