JEE Examination Ends: Students Prepare for Final Admissions to IITs, NITs, IIITs

After completing JEE counselling for IITs, NITs and Triple ITs in the country, students are now showing their eagerness to get admission in their allotted colleges. Students are collecting information for final admission from the websites of the allotted colleges. Meanwhile, the students who have been allotted to IITs after JEE counselling should now get complete information about the remaining fees and documents required for admission from the website of the allotted IIT.

The notification process for final admission to IITs begins:

Education expert Amit Ahuja said that the reporting dates for admission to IITs will be released on the website of each IIT. Students are advised to read the information on the website of the allotted IIT carefully as each IIT has different dates for reporting, orientation and commencement of classes. Students can complete their registration process by visiting the admission link in the information on the IIT website. Also, students who have been allotted to NIT-Triple IT will have to first pay the partial admission fee between July 24 and 26.

The following formalities must be completed for final admission:

Educationist Amit Ahuja further said that the partial admission fee has been fixed at Rs 45,000 for general, OBC and EWS and Rs 20,000 for SC-ST. Students can only get admission in NIT system colleges allotted in JEE counselling by paying partial admission fee. Students who are satisfied with their allotted college through NIT system will have to complete the formalities for final admission in NIT, Triple IT. Students will have to get information about this from the website of the allotted NIT, Triple IT. The seat acceptance fee deposited by the students during counselling will be adjusted against the remaining tuition fees during their admission.

Expert Amit Ahuja also said that the first semester studies will be held between July 24 and August 19 in IITs. First, the first semester studies will start on July 22 at IIT Delhi. After this, the first semester studies will start on July 25 at IIT Guwahati, on July 26 at Indore, on July 29 at Bombay, Hyderabad, Rupnagar, on July 30 at IIT Kanpur, BHU, Bhilai, on July 31 at Jodhpur, Palakkad, on August 1 at Madras, Bhubaneshwar, Tirupati, on August 2 at Patna, on August 3 at IET Roorkee, on August 4 at Dhanbad, on August 5 at IIT Kharagpur, Dharwad, Mandi, on August 7 at Jammu, Goa and finally the first semester studies will start on August 19 at IIT Gandhinagar.
