Tragedy strikes Patiala Medical College as student dies prematurely

A post-graduate medical student from Tamil Nadu, Subaashini R, allegedly committed suicide in her hostel room in Patiala. According to the authorities, she administered a poisonous injection.

The 29-year-old student was enrolled in a government medical college in Patiala. Police chief Sarfraz Alam noted that Subaashini was struggling with depression.

Her body is currently in the Rajindra Hospital mortuary. An autopsy is expected on Sunday when her family will arrive.
