Low Water Bridge Band Continues to Impress with New Single “Call Me”

Who doesn’t love a good love song?

There are so many, but it’s a tale as old as time, and a good love song never gets old. But if you find yourself a little tired of the country love song clichés, then Low Water Bridge Band’s latest single might be just the ticket. If you consider yourself an outdoorsy person, all the better.

Low Water Bridge Band’s brand new tune, titled “Call Me,” is a love song that’s open to interpretation to some extent, but it’s actually written from the perspective of a male turkey who hears a hen calling in the distance, and it explores how far he’ll go in an attempt to find her.

A creative twist on a subject that has been a staple of country music since its inception. The lyrics are vague enough to get the point across, but still leave much to be desired. “Call Me” is a spectacular addition to LWBB’s growing catalog and another impressive example of the band’s impressive harmonies.

Low Water Bridge Band have been on the rise lately, with “Call Me” as their third single so far this year, following the release of their spectacular sophomore album in November 2023. Back to the valley.

Back in April, they released a must-listen cover of the Eagles’ deep cut “Midnight Flyer,” and in June, they shared a killer spaghetti western-inspired track called “The Lasso.” Definitely check that one out, too.

Hailing from Berryville, Virginia in the Shenandoah Valley, Low Water Bridge Band is a stellar six-piece band consisting of Logan Moore, James Montgomery, Rudy Bzdyk, Justin Carver, and brothers Riley and Alex Kerns.

Together they are one of the most underrated bands to come out of Appalachia. It’s only a matter of time before one of these songs catches on and these guys are thrust into the spotlight. Until then, here are a few more songs to introduce you to their spectacular repertoire.
