Paris 2024 Olympic Games squads: Full list of athletes in Indian wrestling team

Six wrestlers will represent India at the upcoming Olympic Games in Paris.

Although they all compete in freestyle, only one male wrestler has achieved Olympic qualification.

For the first time in history, seedings have been introduced in wrestling. Two Indian wrestlers – Aman Sehrawat and Antim Panghal – have been seeded. Panghal has been seeded fourth in the women’s 53kg and Sehrawat has been seeded sixth in the men’s 57kg.

Panghal will be paired with top-seeded Lucia Guzman of Ecuador, fifth-seeded Maria Prevolarki and eighth-seeded Andreea Ana.

Sehrawat will have a tough time against drivers like world champion Stevan Micic and Kazakh sensation Meirambek Kartbay.
