Moon Party Weekend – Kennedy Space Center Events

Apollo 11 landed on the moon on July 20, 1969. In honor of the 55th anniversary of this global event, we honor history and look forward to NASA’s next big step: the Artemis missions.

Join us July 19-21 to not only learn about the Apollo program, but also hear the latest news on the upcoming Artemis missions and our return to the Moon.

Moon Fest Weekend includes:

• Space Shuttle Atlantis^®
• Family-friendly activities (all day).
• Silent DJ from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM.
• The Pink Team 233 will display a competition robot and mini robots for guest interaction on the lower level of Space Shuttle Atlantis^®
• Apollo/Saturn V Center
• “Astro and Orbit”, comedy show with performances at the People’s Moon exhibition at 11:30 am, 12:30 pm, 1:30 pm and 2:30 pm.
• Photo opportunity with a real Apollo-era lunar rover training vehicle (all day).
• Journey To Mars Launched By United Launch Alliance (Saturday July 20 and Sunday July 21 only.)
• Presentations from “Apollo to Artemis” by our space expert Steve at 1:00 PM, 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM.
• Rocket garden
• Short film “One Giant Leap” every hour (all day).
• MRVN^® Garage
• Hop into the Mars Rover Vehicle Navigator for a rare photo opportunity. Purchase a souvenir photo from AstroPhoto.
• STEAM Team cart, outside the Space Shop.
• Meet Snoopy from All Systems Are Go! from 9:30 – 10:25 am and 3:00 – 3:45 pm.
