1 dead after small plane crashes in Niagara County

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — One person is dead after a small plane crashed Saturday afternoon just east of Old Fort Niagara in Youngstown, an official with the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office confirmed to WIVB News 4.

The accident happened just before noon, near the Niagara Scenic Parkway.

Officials confirmed the single-engine plane belonged to Skydive the Falls.
