COLUMBUS, Indiana. – Legal Aid District 11 announces that it will hold a walk-in consultation hour on Tuesday, July 23 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Bartholomew County Public Library in Columbus.

The Legal Aid Clinic/Pro Bono program uses local volunteer attorneys to provide free legal advice and support to low-income individuals. They provide equal access to justice within the community who otherwise would not be able to afford an attorney.

The Legal Aid Tuesday walk-in clinic offers individuals a free 10-minute consultation to answer questions and provide legal information on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no need to register in advance.

General advice is provided from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM and residents can receive advice about evictions from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
