Will Ferrell’s Ultimate DJ House Party in Chicago with Swedish House Mafia – NBC Chicago

Comedian and actor Will Ferrell will take the stage in Chicago this fall along with a number of leading musicians in the name of charity.

Ferrell’s Ultimate DJ House Party, featuring Swedish House Mafia D-Nice, A-Trak and more, takes place Saturday, October 26 at 8 p.m. at Wintrust Arena in Chicago.

“It will be a unique and wild house music party featuring some of the biggest DJs in the world, with one-of-a-kind performances and special guests, all hosted by America’s Sweetheart, Will Ferrell,” the event description reads.

Proceeds will go to Cancer for College, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing need-based scholarships, educational experiences and medical debt relief to cancer patients. Cancer for College was founded 30 years ago by Ferrell’s college friend and three-time survivor Craig Pollard, according to Billboard.

In a video announcing the charity concert, Ferrell said, “I’m here to let the city of Chicago know, I want to warn you guys…”

“…If you’ve ever wanted to party with me and about 10,387 of my closest friends, you can’t miss this,” he said. “We’re going to invite world-famous DJs, surprise celebrities, and you, because everyone’s invited…”
