Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. against Uriah Hall

Work stoppages: Okay, this show is finally going on tour. Hall walks out wearing a black t-shirt with BE REAL written all over it in big, bold letters. Is he real? Are we? Well, we’re about to find out when he gets in the ring and gets ready to take a real check with JCC Jr.

Chavez Jr. wearing a headband and a poncho with MEXICO in the Mexican tricolor. Who would have thought that this would be a fight that would happen? Well, let’s get started.

Round 1: Hall comes out of the blocks early while Chavez Jr. circles around on the outside looking for an opening. He rotates freely because Hall doesn’t have the footwork to cut the ring while they’re fresh. Chavez Jr. lands a decent counter and a body jab here and there, but the output is very low for both men to start. Hall really relies on the jab. It’s about the only thing he throws. Chavez Jr. rips to the body well and lands a good left hook late in the round as Hall chases him down.
