Srinagar, July 20: In a major move to curb the spread of sectarian and inflammatory content on social media, the Cyber ​​Police Kashmir has come to know of several instances where such posts were shared online.

The official social media account @Cyberpolicekmr has issued an urgent appeal to social media users, urging them to refrain from sharing content that could disrupt the harmony and peace in the region.

The Cyber ​​Police stressed the importance of maintaining a respectful and harmonious digital space. The police stressed that the spread of sectarian content not only exacerbates tensions between communities but also violates cyber laws, leading to severe legal consequences for offenders.
