Bookmakers at Florida’s only legal betting shop are betting that two former major champions will prevail over Billy Horschel, the leader after 54 holes, in the final round of the British Open in Troon on Sunday.

Hard Rock Bet listed PGA Champion Xander Schauffele at +300 and two-time Masters Champion and two-time reigning Players Champion Scottie Scheffler at +350. Horschel is listed at +550.

Horschel, at 4 under, leads Schauffele, Sam Burns, Russell Henley and Thirstan Lawrence by one stroke. Scheffler is at 2 under and 11 players are within four strokes of Horschel to start the round.

The bookmaker clearly gave Scheffler and Schauffele more confidence in their previous major titles in this case, while Horschel, a Ponte Vedra Beach resident and Grant native who played college golf at the University of Florida, is still in the hunt for his first.

Horschel has won eight times on the PGA Tour.
