MPs praise Bahrain’s security and stability under royal leadership

In a show of unity, members of parliament expressed their pride in the security and stability the Kingdom enjoys under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

They praised the national consciousness of Bahraini citizens, who heed the directives of the Ministry of Interior to avoid inflammatory calls that threaten national security and civil peace.

MP Mohammed Janahi praised the freedom in Bahrain for citizens to practice their religious rituals responsibly, noting that the recent Ashura season was successfully concluded through the joint efforts of official and civil bodies, led directly by HM the King. MP Janahi stressed the importance of not exploiting religious occasions to stir up tensions, quarrels or political unrest through marches that end in violence and have negative consequences for the nation and its citizens.

Safety and security

He acknowledged the vigilance of Bahraini security personnel, led by the Minister of Interior, in ensuring the safety and security of all. MP Janahi also condemned suspected entities from abroad who incite violence and unlawful marches, stating that such calls are widely rejected by the various components of Bahraini society.

The people of Bahrain are known for their solidarity and cohesion and universally oppose any threat to security, civil peace and national unity.

Suspicious calls

Echoing these sentiments, MP Jameel Mulla Hassan affirmed that all Bahraini citizens from different backgrounds reject these suspicious calls. He supported the Chief of Public Security’s call for citizens to ignore such calls from external parties who seek to disrupt public order and pose legal risks to participants.

He added that the kingdom, under his wise leadership, remains a land of peace, ready to combat conspiracies against the country and its leaders.
