Sunshine Heights Junior Football Club

Sunshine Repair Cafe

Do you enjoy fixing things or are you good at mending clothes and textiles? Kororoit Neighbourhood House is looking for volunteer repairers for its recently launched Repair Café in Brimbank. Events take place once a month and are a chance to meet others in the community and share your skills while helping to repair broken household items.

Al-Anon Family Groups

Al-Anon Family Groups offers help and hope to anyone who is living in an unhappy home because a loved one drinks too much. There are no contracts to sign, only a free will donation to cover room rent. Confidentiality is protected. Confidential meetings are held every Wednesday from 1:00 to 2:30 pm in the Sydenham Neighborhood Center (behind the library). New members are welcome. No appointment necessary. Facilitated by two certified (WWCC) and experienced Al-Anon members. Parents are invited to bring their teens and attend the adult meeting.
