Below is a list of events happening this weekend in Moose Jaw and the surrounding area:

Brickspo: Saturday and Sunday

Hundreds of LEGO creations will be on display Saturday and Sunday for Brickspo at the Western Development Museum. The event will also include public talks and a LEGO garage sale.

Brickspo is from 9am to 5pm. There is a regular entrance fee to the museum. You can read more about the event here.

Riverhurst Bean Festival: Saturday

Take a trip to Riverhurst to experience the eighth annual Bean Festival. This festival has an “old time fair” atmosphere with a focus on family farming, recreation and leisure. Local entertainment will be featured throughout the day in the beer gardens.

There will also be a car show, machine shows, a petting zoo and children’s activities. The Riverhurst 4-H Horse Club will also have their show classes. The fair opens at 11:00 a.m. and runs until 4:00 p.m.

Motocross racing: Sunday

The Moose Jaw Motocross Association will host round six of the Saskatchewan Motocross Championship on Sunday.

Races begin at 9 a.m. Admission is $1 per person or free for children under three. There is a cash discount on site. More information can be found on the Moose Jaw Motocross Association Facebook page.
