Meghan Markle Joins Katy Perry in New Adventure

Meghan Markle is committed to helping the poor and needy in her neighborhood.

The Duchess of Sussex is to join a charity run by Angela Miller-Bevan in Montecito to provide food and clothing to those in need.

Speaking to the Mirror, Angela said: “I know other celebrities who are supporting us have spoken to Meghan. I hope it works. We would love to have her as part of our family.” The project has already worked with stars including Katy Perry, Rob Lowe and Footloose singer Kenny Loggins.

The CEO said, “Celebrities and the wealthy here in Santa Barbara really like to give back to their community. They give us a lot of support, which we’re very grateful for – especially for our annual telethon.”

“Teachers, health workers, shop workers, they have to spend the vast majority of their income on rent. They have little left for food. We see a lot of middle-class people, middle-income people, who need our services,” she noted.
