Wahlberg and Berry Union top streaming charts after Netflix debut

We’ve seen time and time again that pairing Hollywood’s biggest stars in a film made specifically for streaming is a recipe for success. Netflix’s latest attempt at that formula teams Mark Wahlberg and Halle Berry in “The Union,” and it’s paying off. The action-comedy tops the streaming chart in the Samba TV Weekly Wrap Report for the week of August 12-18, 2024.

“American Murder: Laci Peterson,” a true crime docuseries about the 2002 murder, is No. 2 this week. It’s followed by “Furioisa, A Mad Max Saga,” which, conveniently for viewers searching on different streamers, is on Max.
