What We Learned From Tennessee Titans’ 30-27 Win Over Saints

This is a tough one. Bryce Oliver made his name in the NFL during the preseason. As an undrafted rookie free agent, he signed with the Titans in May of 2024 and has been there ever since. Against the San Francisco 49ers, he caught both balls thrown his way for 16 yards. Against the Seattle Seahawks, Oliver caught three of six passes for 22 yards.

On Sunday against the Saints, Oliver caught all three passes thrown his way, recording 52 yards, a 17.3 yards per catch average, and two touchdowns.

It’s not all about the stats, watching Oliver on the field is a treat. At 6’1” and 210 pounds, a little bit of height will come in handy for him going forward, but his athleticism and agility were on full display Sunday.

The Titans’ problem is that they don’t have room for him in their receiving corps. The three-headed monster of DeAndre Hopkins, Calvin Ridley and Tyler Boyd is backed up by sophomore stud Treylon Burks. Nick Westbrook-Ikhine and Kyle Phillips are also solid backups. Oliver would give the Titans an extra weapon for Will Levis, but it’s unlikely he’ll stick around.

If the Titans do let him go, don’t be surprised to see him in a different uniform this fall.
