Titans cut 2021 1st round NFL draft pick Caleb Farley

The Tennessee Titans are parting ways with former first-round pick Caleb Farley after three disappointing seasons, according to a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Farley was the Titans’ first-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, but he’s never been able to stay on the field due to injuries. Farley entered the NFL with back concerns, tore his anterior cruciate ligament as a rookie and missed most of the 2022 season and all of 2023 after the back issues returned. Farley returned to the team for training camp this season, but missed three weeks with a hamstring injury that caused him to miss two of the Titans’ preseason games.

Farley played in just 12 games with the Titans in three years, recording 14 tackles and one pass breakup. He was relegated to special teams play exclusively midway through his sophomore season.

The Titans are in the process of trimming their roster to 53 players on Tuesday, in accordance with NFL rules.
