$50,000 Powerball Lottery Ticket Sold At NJ Pharmacy

A $50,000 Powerball ticket was sold at a pharmacy in northern New Jersey on Saturday ahead of the lottery drawing.

The lucky third-prize ticket was purchased at West Milford Pharmacy on Union Valley Road in West Milford in Passaic County, state lottery officials said. It matched four of the five numbers in the first batch of balls, plus the Powerball number.

No one won the Powerball jackpot nationwide on either Saturday or Monday, pushing Wednesday’s top prize to $93 million, with an estimated cash option of $45.9 million.

Saturday’s winning numbers were: 4, 34, 35, 38 And 69The Powerball number drawn was 19, with a Power Play of 2XA second prize ticket was purchased in California.

Monday’s winning numbers were: 8, 42, 46, 48 And 53The Powerball number drawn was 22, with a Power Play of 3XNo $1 million second-prize tickets were sold anywhere in the country.

No one won the second $10 million drawing, Double Play, on Saturday and Monday, lottery officials said.

The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are 292,201,388 to 1. A player who buys a $2 ticket has approximately 1 in 11,688,053 odds of matching five numbers and winning at least $1 million, while the odds are 913,129 to 1 of winning a third prize of at least $50,000.

Powerball drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday in 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
