‘Minecraft Movie’ Trailer Featuring Jason Momoa and Jack Black

Welcome to A Minecraft Movie‘s deranged block party. Based on the trailer from Warner Bros. Pictures, the guest list is packed. As the Beatles’ “Magical Mystery Tour” sets the mood, Jason Momoa (in wig) is pulled through a portal into the square world of the video game Minecraft, along with a bunch of misfits. “What the hell?” asks Danielle Brooks, speaking for all of us after a pink sheep barks a greeting. Of course, it seems like it’ll be the entire movie before the group gets back home. Piglins brandish fire, creepers sneak up from behind, and Jack Black spawns as Steve, the default character skin required for a magical quest. Emma Myers (Wednesday), Sebastian Eugene Hansen (Just grace), and Jennifer Coolidge (“Hi”) are all logged in. Sure, the kids are dying to see the mines, but what will they think of this movie?
