Friends worry as Meagan Good reportedly steps in to pay Jonathan Majors’ alimony and other expenses after being fired by Marvel

Jonathan Majors’ legal troubles have not only derailed his career, but also hit his finances hard. Luckily for him, his girlfriend, Meagan Good, is there to help ease some of the burden.

Majors was once a rising star in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but he’s reportedly struggling to support his Hollywood lifestyle on his own. According to one source, he relies on his Goodwill to cover his expenses, including alimony payments.

“Life & Style” reports that an anonymous “source” told her that “Meagan is paying for everything.”

The “Harlem” star, who has an estimated net worth of $5 million according to Celebrity Net Worth, is said to be paying the bills after Majors was charged on Dec. 18, 2023, and pleaded guilty to third-degree reckless assault and harassment, stemming from a domestic incident involving his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari.

Since the allegations emerged, and especially after his conviction, Majors has seen several major contracts go up in smoke.

For example, Marvel Studios has cut all ties with him and dropped him from the highly anticipated project “Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.” The project was effectively shelved, Richest reported in August 2024, despite his popularity in the film “Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania,” which came out just a month before the Jabbari incident.

Instead, Marvel owner Disney has shifted the focus to “Avengers: Doomsday,” starring Robert Downey Jr., who will no longer play the character of Iron Man, but will transition into the villain Dr. Doom.

Before his legal troubles, Majors was poised to become a key figure in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Fans loved his portrayal of Kang the Conqueror in the earlier Avengers film, and he reportedly signed a $20 million deal to star in “Avengers: The Kang Dynasty” and appear in 2026’s “Avengers: Secret Wars.” That deal was terminated in December 2023.

His fortune is now said to have fallen to $500,000.

According to the insider, Good not only caters to their needs, but also their luxuries.

“They really wanted this dog, and she had to pay the $75,000 training bill. That’s crazy!” added the source, who claimed that Good even pays child support for Majors’ daughter, Ella Majors, from a previous relationship.

Majors has spoken about his 11-year-old daughter Ella in multiple interviews, despite keeping her out of the public eye. While promoting “Lovecraft Country” in a 2020 interview with People, he revealed that his daughter is mixed race, but he still wanted her to know all about her Black history.

“She needs to understand that it’s not really ‘black history,’ it’s American history,” he said at the time.

Months ago, Good spoke about her relationship with Jonathan Majors on “Today With Hoda & Jenna,” revealing that friends “advised” her not to date Majors, but she chose to follow her heart. In another interview with People , she said that even Majors initially discouraged her from getting into a relationship.

“He even tried to encourage me not to be with him,” she said. “He wanted to protect me. I thought, ‘My dear, first of all you’re dealing with a Black Lion.'”

Good has remained supportive of Majors and stood by his side during his domestic violence trial. In an interview with “Good Morning America,” the “Creed III” star compared her loyalty to that of Coretta Scott King, saying, “She’s an angel, she’s held me … like a Coretta, you know? I’m so blessed to have her.”

Despite their public displays of affection and media adulation, some people close to Good are reportedly still concerned.

“No one knows what Meagan sees in this man,” the insider claimed. “If this continues, she might not be able to pay her mortgage.”
