Rams-Lions Week 1 Matchup Thread

The Los Angeles Rams travel to take on the Detroit Lions for this Sunday night game in Week 1. Kickoff is at 8:20 PM ET. Each team made the playoffs last year, each team has quarterbacks with the potential to play at a high level, and the skilled players around them will make for some real fireworks tonight. Which defense can slow down the other team more? Here’s our guide on how to watch!

After losing in last year’s NFC Championship game, head coach Dan Campbell knows his team is capable of taking the next step and reaching the Super Bowl. Easier said than done, but the Lions could be a top team in the NFC again this season and perhaps even better than last year. However, they should have a real target on their back this year because everyone saw what they were capable of last season.

The Rams were eliminated in the playoffs by the Lions last year, so this could be a revenge game for Sean McVay and his boys. LA is without Aaron Donald, they’ve made some changes, and Chris Shula is leading the defense. Is this team ready for what could be a top offense in the NFL? Can Stafford and the offense find a way to score enough points to win?

Have you been waiting all day for Sunday night? There’s plenty of time and storylines to discuss between the first and final whistles! Enjoy the game and react with Rams and NFL fans below!
